WEC 2014 in Borgaro Torinese (Torino)
A trip to Torino.

Torino was the first capital of Italy and from Torino started at the first of 1800, the historical movement named “Risorgimento Italiano” who led Italy to be one nation.

How to go
Direct in front of the Hotel Atlantic (the official Hotel of WEC 2014), there is the bus stop of the public transport named “SADEM”. In 20 minutes you are directly in the down town. Ask to the front desk of the Hotel Atlantic to have all information concerning the ticket and the bus stop in the down town. The cost of the ticket to Torino is about 3 euro one way.

In the down town
You will find Via GARIBALDI: the largest pedestrian path in Europe. In this area there is a large number of nice shops, where you can find the best of the “Italian style” at the lower prices. On one side of Via GARIBALDI, there is the “Quadrilatero” full of nice little restaurants, where you can eat what you want.

When you arrive in Piazza CASTELLO, you can see il “Palazzo Reale” e il “Palazzo Madama”. At this point you can choose 2 routes:
1) To go down Via ROMA full of stores of the major brands, art galleries and in this area there are the famous ice cream shops where you can find the best ice cream in the world. In the same area you can find the mall “La Rinascente” the most famous brand of the Italian style where to make shopping is really nice. And here is “EATALY”, in Via LAGRANGE, where you will be delighted with the best Italian cuisine. If you have enough time you cannot lost a visit to the “Museo Egizio” the second Egyptian Museum in the world (located in Via Accademia delle Scienze).
2) You can also to go down Via PO’ full of characteristics libraries. Near Via PO’ there is Via MONTEBELLO, and here is the symbol of Torino “la Mole Antonelliana”, site of the “Museo del Cinema”. Going down Via PO’ you arrive in Piazza VITTORIO, a masterpiece of architectural elegance, full of night club. At this point you are arrived on the river PO’, the biggest river in Italy.
3) You must absolutely visit the “Reggia Venaria Reale”, included in the UNESCO Heritage List in 1997. A masterpiece of architecture of the 1600s and art of gardening. Do not miss! Ask to the front desk of the hotel for all information.
It is enough! You can now go back to the hotel Atlantic and to go to the spa of the Hotel for a perfect relax.
